Religious Education Program

The Religious Education Program provides Catholic faith formation to children in Grades 1 through 8 who attend the community public schools.

The Archdiocese of Chicago requires two years for the preparation and reception of a sacrament and encourages participation in all 8 years of formation. The students in Grades 1 and 2 are prepared for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion and students in Grades 7 and 8 (Confirmation I and II) are prepared for the sacrame3nt of Confirmation.

Classes are held weekly in the parish school building on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. for Grades 1 - 5 and Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 P.M. for Grades 6, Confirmation I and II from September until May.
